Policies
Our company policies and commitments as a responsible managed service provider.
About our policies
Axia Computer Systems Ltd operates in a sector where trust is the product — customers hand us the keys to their email, files, networks and cloud estates, and rely on us to keep that information secure, available and used lawfully. The policies on this page set out, in plain language, the standards we hold ourselves to, the commitments we make to customers, suppliers and staff, and the legal frameworks we work within.
They are written for the people who have to live with them — our customers, our engineers, our suppliers and our directors — rather than as box-ticking exercises. Where a policy references legislation (the Data Protection Act 2018, the Modern Slavery Act 2015, the Bribery Act 2010 and so on) we cite the statute so you can verify the source yourself.
How the policies are organised
The policies are grouped into four broad areas, and you can jump straight to any of them from the cards below.
- Data, privacy and security — our Data Protection (GDPR) Policy, Information Security Policy, and the Cookie Policy that governs this website.
- Conduct and ethics — our Anti-Slavery Policy, Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy, Whistleblowing Policy, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
- Operational responsibility — Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Policy, Quality Policy, Health and Safety Policy, and our Nominet Dispute Resolution Service (DRS) Policy for .uk domain disputes.
- Sustainability and accessibility — our Sustainability Policy, Environmental Policy, and Accessibility Statement covering this website.
Keeping policies current
Each policy carries a “Last updated” date at the top of its page. We review the full set at least once a year and after any material change in our services, suppliers or the law. Customers and suppliers who need to be notified of a change are told directly by their account manager; visitors to this page can spot recency at a glance from the dates on each document.
If you cannot find a policy on a topic you would expect us to have — for example a specific sectoral accreditation, supplier code of conduct or data processing addendum — please email legal@axia.co.uk and we will point you to the relevant document or confirm that none currently exists.
Reporting a concern
If you believe we are not living up to any of these policies — whether as a customer, supplier, employee or member of the public — we want to hear from you. Concerns can be raised in confidence using the contact details on our contact page, and our Whistleblowing Policy sets out the protections in place for anyone raising a concern in good faith.
